Most online video tools work by uploading your file to a server, processing it there, and sending it back. That is slow, it costs the operator money, and it means handing your personal footage to a stranger.

This site does not do that. Modern browsers can decode and encode video using the same hardware your phone or laptop uses for everything else. Every tool here runs on that. Your files never leave your device, there is no queue, and there is no account.

How it is built

The site is a static page with no backend. Media handling uses the WebCodecs API built into your browser, driven by the open-source mediabunny library. Full attributions are on thelicences page.

How it is funded

Advertising. That is what keeps the tools free and keeps the processing on your own device rather than on servers we would have to pay for.
