Privacy Policy
Explore our Privacy Policy for a clear understanding of how we manage your data. We prioritize transparency to ensure your privacy and security while providing our services.
1. The purpose of this privacy policy.
iLoveVideos is committed to respecting users' privacy and ensuring security when using our video tools. Your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal media files are our highest priority. This document explains our client-side architecture and data handling principles.
This document can be saved or printed for reference using your browser's print options.
2. In-browser client-side processing architecture.
Every tool on this website operates 100% inside your own web browser using WebAssembly, WebCodecs, and in-browser worker pipelines.
Unlike cloud-based converters, your video and audio files never leave your device. No video file, no audio stream, and no extracted image frame is ever transmitted over the network to our servers or to any third party.
You can independently verify this at any time by opening your browser's Developer Tools (F12), navigating to the Network tab, and running any tool. You will observe that 0 bytes of media payload are uploaded.
3. What data we collect.
We do not require user accounts, logins, or personal details to use our tools. Our hosting infrastructure records standard HTTP server logs (such as IP addresses, browser user-agent, and requested page URLs) strictly for DDoS mitigation, operational reliability, and platform security.
4. Advertising and analytics.
This site displays advertising supplied by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure non-personalized or personalized ads depending on your consent preferences.
These advertising scripts have no access to your media files, memory buffers, or video processing pipelines. Where required by regional laws (such as GDPR in the EU/UK), we present a consent choice prior to loading any advertising cookies.
For more details on Google's advertising policies, visit Google's Partner Privacy Policy.
5. Local browser storage.
We store brief technical capability records (such as browser video codec support) in session storage to inform you if a specific format is supported by your device hardware. This data remains entirely on your machine and is destroyed when you close the browser tab.
6. Your rights and data control.
If you reside in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have full rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to manage cookie consent. If you are a California resident, you may exercise your rights under CCPA/CPRA. Contact us at our contact page if you have any questions.
